The AI Governance Specialist designs and implements the organization's AI governance framework to enable responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption. The role works closely with business, technology, cybersecurity, legal, risk, and compliance teams to establish governance policies, controls, operating models, and processes across the AI lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, andprocedures.
  • Define governance roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Design AI risk frameworks, control libraries, and governance workflows.
  • Establish AI inventory, use case approval, and lifecycle governance processes.
  • Conduct AI governance maturity assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Support implementation of governance processes within AI Governance Workbench.
  • Develop governance metrics, KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and executive reports.
  • Monitor compliance with AI regulations, standards, and responsible AI principles.
  • Collaborate with business, legal, risk, cybersecurity, privacy, and technology teams to embed AI governance across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Risk Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience in AI governance, technology governance, GRC, risk management, compliance, or data governance.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, controls, and operating models.
  • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, AI lifecycle management, and enterprise governance.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with AI governance standards.
  • Experience with AI governance platforms, GRC tools, and governance workflow automation.
