Job Description: We are seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer focused on platform optimization to help design, build, and improve scalable data solutions in Snowflake. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across modern data platforms. You will collaborate with data, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to support high-quality data delivery and ongoing platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and transformations in Snowflake. - Optimize warehouse performance, query execution, and data storage patterns. - Support data modeling, schema design, and best practices for scalable analytics workloads. - Monitor platform usage, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning improvements. - Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable data solutions. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and operational stability across the platform.

Required qualifications: - Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data engineering. - Proficiency in SQL and data transformation workflows. - Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and platform monitoring. - Familiarity with ETL/ELT patterns and data pipeline development. - Ability to troubleshoot data issues and improve system reliability. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification: - Experience with dbt, Python, or orchestration tools. - Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and cost optimization. - Experience supporting hybrid or remote teams.
