Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Alteryx Developer / Business Technology Consultant with strong expertise in Alteryx development, End User Computing (EUC), SQL, UNIX/Linux, APIs, production support, and enterprise data workflows. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable technology solutions, develop automation workflows, improve operational processes, and support business-critical operational infrastructure.
This role requires a self-motivated professional with strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills who can independently deliver solutions from requirements gathering through implementation while ensuring operational excellence and successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate operational requirements into scalable Alteryx and End User Computing (EUC) solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and implement end-to-end Alteryx workflows that automate processes, improve efficiency, and support business objectives.
- Coordinate project activities including requirements gathering, solution development, testing, issue resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance controls, and improve operational performance.
- Support business-managed applications, EUC infrastructure, UNIX/Linux environments, production processes, and enterprise data workflows while ensuring stability and operational excellence.
- Perform production support activities including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and operational monitoring.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, validation, reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Support APIs, relational databases, NoSQL databases, and workflow management platforms to enable business processes.
- Collaborate with technology teams, business users, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex operational and technical challenges.
- Provide subject matter expertise on business processes related to securities operations and administration functions.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational controls.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, implementation updates, and issue resolution plans to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, operational controls, and technology governance requirements.
- Support business transformation initiatives by implementing innovative solutions and improving existing processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions that address evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience developing Alteryx solutions independently from business requirements through successful delivery.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise Alteryx workflows.
- Experience supporting End User Computing (EUC) applications and business-managed technology solutions.
- Strong SQL experience with the ability to perform data analysis, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting UNIX/Linux environments and production applications.
- Experience working with APIs, workflow management platforms, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within Mortgage, Financial Services, Banking, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of securities issuance, administration processes, and operational workflows.
- Experience with mortgage securitization processes and mortgage transaction data dependencies.
- Experience supporting enterprise data workflows, automation initiatives, and process improvement programs.
- Familiarity with production support processes, incident management, and application operations.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise technology environments.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Experience in consulting, client-facing, or enterprise technology delivery environments.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and deliver innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
