Job Description

We are seeking a Senior QA Testing, UAT & Business Analysis Consultant to support a major modernization initiative. This role is a hybrid position requiring expertise across User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Business Analysis, requirements validation, change management, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, refined, validated, tested, and delivered. This individual must possess strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable leading conversations with business users, product teams, technology teams, and program leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UAT strategy, planning, execution, governance, and reporting across large-scale transformation programs

• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and refine business requirements

• Translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria

• Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing, defect resolution, and production deployment

• Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder discussions, walkthroughs, and validation sessions

• Challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and proactively drive clarification of business and functional requirements

• Perform impact assessments for change requests and ensure appropriate testing coverage across impacted business processes

• Design and oversee execution of manual and automated testing efforts aligned with business outcomes

• Support automation initiatives utilizing Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, Development teams, and Release Management teams

• Support cutover planning, business readiness activities, go-live support, and post-implementation validation

• Provide status reporting, risk assessments, defect management, and executive-level communication to program leadership

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, UAT, QA, or related disciplines

• Proven experience operating in a hybrid Business Analyst and QA/UAT leadership capacity

• Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements

• Demonstrated ability to create requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) and maintain end-to-end requirement coverage

• Experience translating requirements into test strategies, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria

• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across business and technology organizations

• Experience managing change requests, impact analysis, and scope adjustments in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise transformation programs

• Experience supporting Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or other Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs)

• Mortgage, Single-Family, Multifamily, Loan Origination, Loan Servicing, Capital Markets, or Housing Finance domain experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments

• Prior experience supporting modernization, migration, or enterprise transformation initiatives

• Familiarity with data validation, ETL testing, and regulatory reporting processes
